Our workshop

Not only do we sell Cameras, but we also repair and service Cameras. 

Our modern onsite workshop is equipped with the latest precision testing equipment to ensure that all Cameras and Lenses are refurbished to our high standards, after all, a Camera is a precision instrument which requires a Clean, Lubricant and Adjustment every ten or so years.

A typical refurbishment that we carry out on all our Pentax K1000, KM, KX or MX would include:

• Meter - Checked and tested (adjusted if required)

• Shutter speeds - Lubricated and re-calibrated

• Wind-on and transport - Lubricated (if required)

• Light Seals - Rear film compartment and mirror box fitted with new seals

• Lens optics - Cleaned from fungus. Most dust is removed, but the odd dust particle may remain - this is due to age

Once a Camera has gone through our workshop - the next general CLA'd service is not due until 10 to 15 years time**. All our Pentax K1000, KM, KX, and MX are sold fully working, and with a six month warranty
